Virlina Request - Pray for the Masons Cove Church of the Brethren in Roanoke County and Pastor Thomas Hanks, as the congregation is re-chartered today. Let us pray that God would enable us to minister creatively in every place and situation.

"Summer vacation is over for the Adult Choir. We will begin our first practice on Wednesday evening, August 26, 2009, at 8:00 p.m. I am always anxious to receive any new members in our choir and hope many of you that I

have talked with will be joining us. Of course, I expect all our current members to return. There are no age requirements and everyone is welcome. You do not have to read music, but hopefully we can all learn from each other. A Christmas Cantata has been selected and we will begin practicing right away. Please join us for an evening of musical enjoyment as we "Sing for the Lord."
