Pray for the Virlina District Board as it
meets on September 19th at the Copper Hill Church in Floyd County,
Virginia. Let every decision which affects the mission and ministry of the
church, from the smallest to the greatest, be the subject and result of
earnest prayer.

“Building Peace in the Body of Christ” will be held
3 PM at Roanoke, Oak Grove Church of the Brethren, 2138 McVitty
Road. Speakers will be J.Michael Varner, Pastor of Topeco CoB and
Timothy P. Harvey, Pastor of Roanoke, Central CoB. Refreshments and
fellowship will follow the service.
Sunday, September 20 Voice of Praise – 6 P.M.
Please mark your calendars for a performance of Voice of Praise.
Held at Bethlehem and our church will provide light refreshments.
Check the bulletin board for a photo of this male ensemble, as well as
our county paper on Friday. Invite your friends and family to a
wonderful evening of music!

Wednesday, Sept. 23 Women’s Bible Study – 10 AM

An Adult beginner group will meet at 4 PM;
The established group will meet at 4:45 PM.
Children’s Choir members will use the chimes at their
Thursday Practices. Let Mary Alice Bowman know if
you would like to participate.
Wednesday, Sept. 23 Boones Mill CoB Revival –
The Bethlehem Adult Choir will singing at the
Revival. Please attend and support your choir and
enjoy the sermon by David Shumate.
Sunday, Sept. 27 Study of Islam & Iran – 7 PM
David Wolfe will share about his time spent
in Iran
studying Islam
